Kroatien-Segelnschule Basic Sailing Course Programm:The basic sailing course programme consists of the essential knowledge and skills you can acquire on sailing. During the course the theoretical skills of the sailing essentials, the sail aerodynamics, navigation skills, maneuvering with engine and sails, weather forecasting, avoiding collisions on the sea, safety on the sea, etc. are acquired. In the practical part of the course a special attention is paid to the elementary sailing skills, where the attendants in the groups of maximal 5 course attendants with one instructor have enough time for gaining skills for independent sailing. Basic sailing course is based in Stari Grad, island Hvar where this environment is chosen for its incredible weather conditions with wind and sunny weather. You sleep in our apartments.
Theory lesions are in the classroom just in front of the sailboats where You will practice sailing at sea. Price of one basic sailing course is 649, 00 EUR per person and it includes:

The Sailing Course is held on the sailing boat Beneteau First 7500 Croatia Sailing School » Advanced Sailing Course:The course duration is seven days, i.e. 53 school hours. This program is especially focused on the maneuvering exercises during practicing (mooring and unmooring with engine and sails), working and maneuvering with asymmetric spinnaker. Fine adjustment of the sails as well as sailing with asymmetric spinnaker or just spinnaker will show You how it is great to use advance sailing methods in gaining more fun and faster sailing. After 3 days sailing course is held on one of our cruisers, Beneteau sailboat. Now, you will get a chance to visit islands and practice the program. The size of the sailboat depends on the number of attendants. Sailing on Beneteau First 7500. This program is a logical continuation and addition to the experience acquired in the previous two course program. It is held by instructors with very long skipper and yachting experience. The seven-day-program totals 250 nautical miles, i.e. approximately 35 nautical miles a day. Croatia Sailing School» Navigational sailing Programme:The program includes a tour to the following islands: Brač, Šolta, Hvar, Vis, Lastovo, Korčula and Mljet with two night navigations. Over these seven days together with the following issues such as an independent navigational program, nautical skills, following the weather conditions and out-of-marina anchoring the attendants will be acquainted with the things unavoidable for the living on sea such as: doing the dishes with the limited water consumption, cooking and the preparation of the typical meals: «tinguet», pasta with tuna, tomato sauce, fish stew, etc. Daily working program is not fixed owing to the unforeseeable weather conditions but the course attendants are obliged to sail 35 nautical miles a day, i.e. one route a day is foreseen for this course.
